Beverley Rae, MSW, IBCLC is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and clinical social worker at Breastfeeding Resources in Manhasset, NY.

She has helped thousands of new mothers to breastfeed their babies successfully.

Beverley’s 25+ years of experience as a breastfeeding consultant began with nursing her own five children. She is a former president of the International Lactation Consultant Association.

As a social worker at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, she led parenting groups and provided individual and family therapy in the division of child and adolescent psychiatry at Cohen Children’s Medical Center.

Beverley graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. She received her accreditation as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners.
