Breastfeeding Mommy and Me
Come with your baby and your breastfeeding questions to network and share experiences with other breastfeeding mothers.
It’s easy to feel isolated at home once the flowers and cards, the UPS guy and the visitors have stopped coming! Attending Mommy and Me is a good way to keep up your morale when breastfeeding seems difficult (you’ll hear from other moms that it gets easier).
Breastfeeding Mommy and Me is led by Beverley Rae, MSW, IBCLC, a board certified lactation consultant who has been helping mothers to breastfeed for more than 25 years.
You can nurse your baby while joining in the discussion and afterwards, use our baby scale for a weight check.
Topics vary and reflect the needs of the mothers present, but often include concerns about milk supply, adjusting to life as a new mother, fussy babies, diet and breastfeeding, easy ways to pump and store breastmilk, managing a toddler and the new baby, breastfeeding when you’re on the go, and planning for return to work.
There’s always time for questions on any aspect of breastfeeding.
Email Beverley at email@example.com for upcoming dates.
Fee: $20 or $95 for a package of six sessions.
